Joint Ventures: The Long Overlooked Path To
Wealth Joint ventures have been in existence since man has been forming alliances to benefit the collective. What has often been seen as the vehicle of the large publicly traded corporations is just as useful to online marketers looking to leverage their knowledge. A joint venture gives an online entrepreneur a way to combine the skills that he or she owns with another member to compliment their own shortcomings. Let's say that I have a great product exclusive to only me. I have a great sales pitch, it does something no one else's product can do, and it's listed for a great price. The problem is that I don't have a distribution network for it, so my sales move at a near trickle. Let's also say that there is a mystery online marketer out there that has a mailing list stocked full of thousands of contacts. Their problem is that even though they have all of these contacts, they have no product to sell. Well of course, now you're thinking "it's a no brainer that the two should partner up and make some money." True enough, in this example it seems very simple, but in actuality many people in this same situation don't put two and two together. They try on their own to make it work. Sometime they succeed, but more often than not they fail. Do yourself a favor. The next time you're looking to make some money, take a look at the resources that you have available. Then, take even more time finding the right partner that you can form a joint venture with. This way, you'll both end up making more money easier by leveraging the skills that you have with your partner's. Have a profitable day! Nicholas Kirt is an online entrepreneur. Maximize the Power of Your E-book by Adding the
Option of Branding E-books and electronic information have seemingly been around since close to the dawn of the Internet. However, the technology that has evolved to make e-books more profitable is cutting edge. If you've ever published your own e-book, you know how easy and profitable it can be. What you may not know is that your e-book could pack a greater punch with the power of branding. Branding is taking an embedded link such as http://www.website.com in your e-book, and allowing the purchaser of your e-book to change the link to include their affiliate link to look something like http://www.website.com/myaffiliateid. You may be saying, great, so you can let them change a link, big deal. Well, this can be a great big deal if you use this tool correctly. Let's say you have an affiliate account for a product X. And your affiliate ID is productXseller. Well, if you can embed your affiliate link into your e-book such as www.productX.com/productXseller, and then allow your affiliate link to be re-branded to your buyer's ID to look like www.productX.com/productXseller's-affiliate you can generate a lot of passive income. This is useful for affiliate programs that allow you to earn credit for what your affiliates or "down-line" produce. Another benefit of making an e-book brandable is that it gives your readers an incentive to pass on your book. This gets it into more hands typically than a standard e-book. It gives the buyer something that is in it for them. If they re-brand your e-book and then pass it along, chances are so will their customer and so on. Before you know it, hundreds of copies of your e-book may be distributed out among the Internet. I know this to be true, because I've created a brandable e-book myself. I've seen how powerful of a system this can be. Go to my link at http://www.acgrei.com/Free_Traffic/Free_Traffic.zip and download a free copy for yourself. It includes everything you need to re-brand and distribute my e-book. Look it over. It should give you a greater understanding of what I'm describing by seeing it firsthand. That leads me to my final point. The beauty of brandable e-books is the way in which you can distribute them. You can sell them online at your website, via online auctions like Ebay, distribute them with your newsletter or as a bonus for visiting your website. You want to get your publication into your customers' hands any way you can. By using this strategy, you can make money, even by giving away an e-book for free. Have a profitable day! Fine Art of Writing an E-book There are a lot of online entrepreneurs making
money by starting websites and selling e-books. They may think that they
have it made with a steady and profitable business. Usually that's very
true. A lot of people are making nice incomes from selling e-books both
from websites and auction sites such as Ebay or Yahoo. However, the
difference between those that make "nice" incomes, and those
that make substantial incomes is quite large. What's the difference between the two profiteers?
Usually it's having a unique vision and the ability to think on a larger
scale. One example of this would be rather than just re-selling other
people's e-books, publish your own. Let's look at the merits of publishing
your own e-book, and why it can be a profitable endeavor. When you write
your own content, you can control what's in the book. This isn't just
limited to the text. This also includes whether or not you insert links to
your own website to generate visitors, advertisements such as Google
Adsense, as well as links to affiliates that you partner with. You can
also make your e-book brandable. This is something I will address in a
future article in more detail. Most people overlook these advantages when
they publish an e-book. They're so excited to publish an e-book, they
forget about the advantages and money they are leaving on the table by
skipping these items. If you do it the right way and not clutter your
e-book with ads everywhere, you can do very well. Once you have the topic you want to write about,
you need to put fingers to keyboard and start hammering out your
publication. There are a lot of e-book compilers out there that you can
use. Some are easier than others to use. The way that I like to write my
e-books is with a word processor program that most are familiar with,
Microsoft Word. You can paste HTML, hyperlinks and other forms of online
content. It's an easy way to format your e-book and make sure it has a
clean look to it before you have it published. Another tool you'll need is
a way to convert your Word document into a format that will not allow your
file to be altered. I prefer to use Adobe Acrobat. It's an expensive
program, but you can usually find an older version on Ebay for a
reasonable price. I then convert my e-book to a PDF file. Once it's
converted, you have the base for an e-book. No e-book is complete however without including a
sales page if you hope to generate any profit from your e-book. You can
then include this page with your e-book if you offer resale rights. If you
don't want to offer resale rights, you can use it as the basis of the
sales page for your website, or for an online listing such as Ebay. You
sales page can be as elaborate as a high end website, or it can be as
simple as a few lines of text describing your product and maybe a picture
of your e-book cover. Once you have your e-book converted to your format of choice and your sales page created, it's time for the final step. Convert both items and any corresponding pictures into one zip file for easy distribution. You can then upload it to your server for customers to download, or simply e-mail it as you sell it through online auctions. That's all there is to the process.
